Youth Leader Profile
Lead the Youth Ministry at HOA in accordance with Senior Pastor’s vision
and direction for the whole church.
Provide shepherding for the youth at HOA. Develop and execute strategic plan to inspire
and mobilize all youth to participate in the shared vision and missions of
FECSGV and FECA.
Lead youth workers who will touch the youth’s lives with God’s love,
teach them God’s Word and provide fellowship with God’s people-laying a foundation
that will keep our youth interested in the things of God and involved in HOA.
Implement age appropriate activities and holistic growth plan [physical,
social, emotion, mental, and spiritual] with the workers for the youth.
Facilitate the transition of our youth into the adult ministry as they
graduate from high school.
Adhere to the Bylaws, policies and procedures of the Church as set by
the Board of Elders;
Responsible for the promotion and advancement of the spiritual welfare
of the Church and the Youth Ministry.
At least 2 years of ministerial experience in the Youth Ministry,
including organizing youth activities, developing curricula, leading small
groups, passionate for influencing and affecting the youth’s lives with the
Gospel of Christ, and for reaching and developing the youth as followers of
Christ. Understand the American and Chinese culture is beneficial.
Clear calling of serving at a local church. One year commitment minimum.
10. Stable and
mature Christian. Can be a good role
model for the youth and youth workers.
11. Share the
church’s vision and missions, philosophy of ministry, core values, and
statement of faith.
